Anthracite jersey fabric and subdued sleeve patch art represented the fact that the most dangerous jumps were executed under the cover of darkness. A custom number set was created in the symmetrical spirit of the iconic "AA" division patch.
Authentic recreations of 10 key units from the WWII era that were involved in operations leading up to and including the D-Day invasion were represented in full color patches on the upper right chest. Historically accurate, unit-specific icons were also utilized in the helmet designs.
82nd Airborne inspired helmets complete with battalion-specific iconography. Helmet netting was very utilitarian, used for everything from camouflage to the carrying of first aid kits.
